The new Ashley Greene The Apparition movie opened today. We watched the movie this morning, prior to noon on the East Coast. We have served up multiple spoilers on The Apparition. In this The Apparition spoiler post, we will share the main plot points.

Patrick, Lydia and Mike conjure up the apparition. Their parapsychology experiment proves successful. However, the powerful energy that opens a door to another dimension, sucks Lydia into the ceiling.
The Apparition trailer makes the moviegoing public think the Kelly is part of the research. We see Kelly asking about Lydia near a power line grid, atop a hill. She is dating Ben. Ben is the person holding the camera in the second experiment. Ben and Lydia were a couple until she got sucked into the ceiling.
The apparition is haunting Ben and Kelly. It is another Insidious plot which the malevolent entity is attached to the human body, using fear as power to remain in the physical world. We never see the apparition in form.
The apparition is viewed through shadows, sound, movement, and as an element of fear. Ashley Greene has a shower scene, but the camera does not reveal her flawless body and face. She walks around in black panties, which highlights her nice backside.
The Apparition is shot in Santa Clarita Valley. We recognized the Costco in Canyon Country and the Veterinarian clinic in Valencia. Ben and Kelly live in Palmdale, California.
The apparition kills Lydia, Pepper (dog), Patrick, Ben and then Kelly. All characters involved in the 1973 experiment died. No main characters survive in The Apparition movie. The entity uses fear against the human mind.
There is not a lot going on with scene locations. The Apparition stays within a few locations in Santa Clarita Valley and Palmdale. In the movie ending, the apparition attacks Kelly. She walks into the Canyon Country Costco, enters a tend, and then the apparition's multiple hands suffocate her.
The main plot points:
- The parapsychology researchers conjure up an entity that remains in the physical world
- Ben is part of the research team
- Lydia dies in the experiment
- The apparition haunts Kelly and Ben at their home (Kelly's parent's home)
- Pepper the dog dies - the apparition consumes its life force
- The apparition takes action to frighten Kelly and Ben
- Patrick informs Kelly and Ben they are haunted vessels
- The three perform one last experiment to reverse the process
- While having a beer to celebrate, the apparition sucks Patrick into a room - he dies
- Ben and Kelly go to Patrick's home in the mountains
- They enter a cage that protects them against the apparition's power of entering the brain waves
- Ben dies. The wall consumes his physical body
- Kelly confronts the apparition in the woods. She ventures back to Costco. While inside a tent in the shopping center, the apparition suffocates a weak and frightening apparition.
The end
The Apparition is a supernatural movie about a scientific experiment gone haunted. As a result of the experiment, the researchers create a malicious entity. The paranormal entity is capable of moving about the physical plane.
